Welcome to the start of your safari and welcome to Tanzania! You've chosen a fantastic place for your safari journey and we'll get you started with an introductory briefing before we head out to begin the trip you've been dreaming of.

Busy Arusha is an essential part of safari life here in northern Tanzania and most travelers pass through at some stage. Whether you’re on your way out on safari or here for a little longer, you’ll catch a glimpse of streets filled with energy and color.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Wherever you go in Tarangire National Park, you’ll come across the park’s famous and larger-than-life baobab trees and elephants. These are the twin elements that give this park so much personality. There is, of course, so much more. We don’t just mean the huge populations of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys and zebras. Or the rugged landscape of rocky hills and rivers, swamps and savannah plains. You also have an excellent chance of seeing lions here – Tarangire is a real lion stronghold – and keep an eye out for leopards and cheetahs as well.

Day 3 to 5

Central Serengeti National Park

It's time for you to get to know the Central Serengeti, one of the most wildlife-rich places in all of East Africa. All three big cats are commonly seen, as are many other animals, and the savannah grasslands interspersed with signature acacia trees is classic safari terrain. It can get busy, but it's a vast area where you can easily find some solitude.

Karatu (Day 3)

Immerse yourself in the rhythms of Karatu – the main street here is busy with passing travelers, but it’s quiet everywhere else.

Ngorongoro Crater (Day 3)

You're going to love everything about Ngorongoro Crater, from its amazing wildlife (lions, hyenas, black rhinos and flamingos are just the start) and beautiful scenery to its lost-world feel.

Day 3, Serengeti National Park

In the Unesco World Heritage–listed Serengeti, you’ll see big cats, very big elephants, giraffes and wildebeest herds, and classic Africa scenery that seems to go on forever.

Transfer by Road, Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

Morning

This morning you'll join us on a guided game drive through Ngorongoro Crater. Apart from looking for the amazing wildlife (lions, black rhinos, spotted hyenas and more), your guide will show you the many beautiful corners of the crater floor.

Transfer by Road, Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

We'll take you to your hotel.

Activities Day 4

Morning

Serengeti National Park is filled with wildlife and an expert guide will help you look for big cats, elephants and other species this morning on your guided game drive. The Serengeti's grasslands are sure to be a visual highlight.

You never quite know what you'll see on your guided game drive in the Central Serengeti as your guide takes you through some of Tanzania's best wildlife country.

Join us for a picnic in Serengeti National Park, where you get to eat great food while surrounded by nature.

You'll get to know Serengeti National Park in the best possible way on a guided game drive. Led by an expert guide, you'll drive out across the park's famous savannahs to look for the incredible wildlife (big cats, elephants and more) that calls the park home.
Come and see the best of Serengeti National Park as we take you out on a guided game drive. It really is a terrific way to feel a part of Africa with the wind in your hair as we drive you around to look for animals.

Materuni Waterfalls

Materuni Waterfalls is one of the prettiest natural attractions in the forests of northern Tanzania. It's especially beautiful when the waters are flowing and the surroundings are lovely and green.

Moshi

Get to know this pleasant northern Tanzanian town on your way between safari experiences out in the wild. Shops, markets and Mt Kilimanjaro views are the main attractions.

Your safari in Tanzania will come to an end, bringing to a close your time in this remarkable country. We're sure that you have had the most wonderful time.

Join us on a tour of a coffee plantation in Moshi, where you can ask everything you've ever wanted to know about where coffee comes from.

Afternoon

Enjoy a swim this afternoon in Materuni Waterfalls. It's a fine way to break up your journey, relax, and cool off at the same time.

We'll transfer you to the airport.
