This is where all of your planning becomes a reality: your safari starts now. Tanzania is such a wonderful country when it comes to wildlife and beautiful landscapes. After we greet you and answer any questions you might have, we'll take great pleasure in taking you out and showing you what we mean.

Arusha is a fun city to explore, a fascinating urban complement to the thrills on offer elsewhere in northern Tanzania's safari parks. Here you'll get to experience lively streets, tasty local food, and busy markets and museums. More than anything else, it's a window into life in a provincial Tanzanian city.

West Kilimanjaro

Hidden away from the outside world between Mt Kilimanjaro and the Arusha–Nairobi highway, West Kilimanjaro is an emerging destination known for its scenery, wildlife and excellent accommodations. This is an important area for migrating elephants, and the views of Mt Kilimanjaro are some of the best in Tanzania.

Day 3

Arusha National Park

You could come to Arusha National Park for the wildlife – birds are abundant, you’ll almost certainly see giraffe, zebra and buffalo, and perhaps elephant and hippo. But you’ll hardly be able to take your eyes off the scenery – here the Rift Valley is at its most beautiful. Rising above the park, Mt Meru is a volcano drawn from a child’s imagination. And Ngurdoto Crater is one of the most dazzling anywhere in Tanzania – it’s smaller than Ngorongoro, but otherwise is just as impressive.

Walking safari, Arusha National Park

You'll never get tired of going on a walking safari, where you'll leave behind the vehicle and step out into the wild. It can be a little nerve-wracking at first, but you'll be walking with an experienced guide and it's very safe. It can be a real thrill walking in this way, and most people fall in love with the experience.

Activity Day 3

Guided walking safari is also one of the great experience to have in the park because it will give you intimate and immersive to feel rushed, a walking safari allows you to connect with the natural world on a deeper level. You'll hear the rustle of leaves, smell the fresh air, and observe wildlife up close.

Arusha

Arusha is a fun city to explore, a fascinating urban complement to the thrills on offer elsewhere in northern Tanzania's safari parks. Here you'll get to experience lively streets, tasty local food, and busy markets and museums. More than anything else, it's a window into life in a provincial Tanzanian city.

Arusha National Park (Day 6)

You might see zebra, giraffe and buffalo at Arusha National Park, perhaps even an elephant or two. But you’ll spend most of your time gazing at Mt Meru and Ngurdoto Crater.

Lake Duluti (Day 7)

Off the Arusha–Moshi road, Lake Duluti fills a crater and is good for birding.

Bush camp

Your base in the central Serengeti is Pimbi Public Campsite. The camp has shared cooking and bathroom facilities, but it's the location that you'll love most of all. Wildlife is easy to see in the area not far from camp, and the landscape of acacia trees and savannah grasslands offers plenty of classic Serengeti scenery.

Day 6 & 7

Ndutu

Off the main route between Ngorongoro and the Serengeti, and in the far south of the latter, Ndutu is a smaller-scale, more intimate version of one of Tanzania's best wildlife regions. It's a fabulous destination year-round, and this is where millions of wildebeest give birth to their calves when the great migration passes through, often with plenty of predators nearby. It also has all of the essential elements of the Serengeti's appeal, including big horizons and incredible wildlife, but without the crowds you'd share it with elsewhere.

Day 8

Ngorongoro Crater

Your day in and around Ngorongoro Crater could just be one of the most memorable of your whole safari. You’ll explore the crater rim and then drive down onto the crater floor, where the critically endangered black rhinos are the stars of an astonishing wildlife show. You’ll almost certainly see large-tusked elephants, at least one of the Ngorongoro’s four lion prides, and wandering clans of spotted hyenas. It also just happens to be one of Africa’s most beautiful corners, a hidden world where you’ll be surrounded by steep, deep-green crater walls, a salt lake, forests and hippo-filled waterways.

A guided game drive through Serengeti National Park is one of the best safari experiences you can have anywhere in Africa. Apart from the signature savannah grasslands and the park's amazing wildlife, your guide will show you all that's good about the Serengeti.

Lodge

Up the hill from Lake Manyara National Park and close to the lookout over the lake, Panorama Safari Camp has igloo-style accommodation. The location is convenient for the park and nicely elevated to avoid the heat of the plains down below. There's a bar and restaurant area, good views and a relaxed atmosphere.
