After we greet you and answer any questions you might have, we'll take great pleasure in taking you out and showing you what we mean.

Arusha has so many things happening, it can be difficult to know where to look. There are busy markets, informative museums, and terrific restaurants and street food. Even just standing on a busy street corner and watching the world go by can be an education. By the end of it all, Arusha could end up being an unexpected highlight of your safari.

Arusha National Park (Day 2)

You might see zebra, giraffe and buffalo at Arusha National Park, perhaps even an elephant or two. But you’ll spend most of your time gazing at Mt Meru and Ngurdoto Crater.

Day 2

Arusha National Park

You could come to Arusha National Park for the wildlife – birds are abundant, you’ll almost certainly see giraffe, zebra and buffalo, and perhaps elephant and hippo. But you’ll hardly be able to take your eyes off the scenery – here the Rift Valley is at its most beautiful. Rising above the park, Mt Meru is a volcano drawn from a child’s imagination. And Ngurdoto Crater is one of the most dazzling anywhere in Tanzania – it’s smaller than Ngorongoro, but otherwise is just as impressive.

Tarangire National Park

Elephants and baobabs will probably be your highlights when you visit Tarangire, but sightings of lions are also possible, as are wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys and zebras

All Day

You'll be going on a guided game drive to look for Tarangire's lions, elephants, cheetahs and more. It's one of the best places to go looking for animals in northern Tanzania.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park

Everything seems to be cast on a grander scale in Tarangire National Park, from the giant baobab trees that bring such personality to the park's landscapes to the massive elephants for which the park is famous. Although a popular place to visit for travelers on safari through northern Tanzania, Tarangire rarely feels crowded, and that becomes even more true the further south you go in the park. Other wildlife to look forward to here includes big cats, zebra, hippo, buffalo, wildebeest and more. If you're really lucky, you might spy the park's transient population of African wild dog.

Serengeti National Park

In the Unesco World Heritage–listed Serengeti, you’ll see big cats, very big elephants, giraffes and wildebeest herds, and classic Africa scenery that seems to go on forever.

You'll get to know Serengeti National Park in the best possible way on a guided game drive. Led by an expert guide, you'll drive out across the park's famous savannahs to look for the incredible wildlife (big cats, elephants and more) that calls the park home.

You’ll explore the crater rim and then drive down onto the crater floor, where the critically endangered black rhinos are the stars of an astonishing wildlife show. You’ll almost certainly see large-tusked elephants, at least one of the Ngorongoro’s four lion prides, and wandering clans of spotted hyenas. It also just happens to be one of Africa’s most beautiful corners, a hidden world where you’ll be surrounded by steep, deep-green crater walls, a salt lake, forests and hippo-filled waterways.
